Our Team

Dr. Paul Neumann
Born and raised in Toronto, it took only a couple of months in Victoria in the summer of 1991 for his internship for him to see the light. Upon graduation from the University of Waterloo, Dr Neumann moved to BC and in 1995 started his private practice on the Peninsula. A strong believer in empowerment and education, not only does his staff receive constant education upgrades, but many patients are emailed copies of their retinal scan with specific google instructions to boot. Now over 10 years and some 20,000 patient exams later, he is very proud to offer the latest in computerized testing, yet still provide the unhurried one on one care that is only possible in private practice.

Dr. Gurpreet Leekha received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York in Manhattan in 2001. He continued his optometric training through externships in Bronx, New York and Miami, Florida. During this time Dr. Leekha developed special interests in psychology and vision as well as developmental and pediatric vision.
Dr. Leekha has worked in several eyecare settings, including an ophthalmology office and a LASIK centre in New York City, and most recently a private practice in Coquitlam, BC. He travelled to Mexico in 2001 with the volunteer vision organization, Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. He offered up his services again in Chile in 2007 and in Mexico in 2008 with the Gift of Sight Foundation, providing free eye exam and eyewear to the underprivileged in those countries.

Lorraine began her Optometric career in 1990 while living in Peterborough, Ontario. As the Island is her "home", when she moved back out west Lorraine continued her optometric work in Campbell River. It is here she earned her accreditation of "Registered Optometric Assistant". In 2005 Lorraine joined the team at the Central Saanich Optometry Clinic and is now our front office manager. Drop in on Saturdays to have Lorraine show you all our latest styles. If you are confused about your optical choices, Lorraine will set you straight.
